A Fun, Interactive Bus Stop That Spells Out The Word 'Bus'
By Melissa Goh, 08 Aug 2014
“BUS” is a permanent art project supported by Creative Alliance and Southeast Community Development Corporation as part of the TRANSIT initiative, Creative Placemaking with Europe in Baltimore.
The sculpture was created by Spanish artist collective mmmm…—it stands 14 feet tall and seven feet wide, and is made with wood and steel that would be able to accommodate two to four people within each letter.
It not only serves as a shelter for the people against rain and sun, but is also an interactive leisure space that allows people to sit and stand in different postures while waiting for the bus.
