Celebrities Are ‘Endorsing’ Creative Duo Despite Having Not Worked With Them

“We’ve been endorsed on LinkedIn before by people who have never actually worked with us. The whole ‘endorsement’ thing has lost its value. So we thought we’d get recommendations from celebrities people actually care about. We’ve never worked with them either,” said creatives Matt Roach and David Lawrie, in an email to Adweek.
Meet M&C Saatchi London creative duo Matt & Dave—“a creative team with the world’s least creative names”.
However, they cleverly used the unoriginal name to their advantage and sourced for ‘personal endorsements’ by celebrities speaking about the Matts and Daves in their lives.
From George Clooney to Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham, all of the celebrities featured have something good to say about them.
