Coca-Cola Unveils Braille Cans For Blind People
By John Yong, 11 May 2015
Soft drink giant Coca-Cola has created ‘Coca-Cola Braille’, a line of specially designed cans for blind people.
The idea was spawned from its ‘Share A Coke’ campaign, where people could share a can of Coke with their names on it—but because blind people couldn’t see their names, the company decided to create the braille cans specially for them.
Using their sense of touch, the blind could feel their names on the cans—allowing them to partake in the brand’s campaign.
