Ad Uses Microsoft’s Age Guessing Tool To Show How Homelessness Ages The Youth
By Jillian Wong, 11 May 2015
You might have enjoyed playing with Microsoft’s How-Old.net age guessing tool, as well as chuckled at the results of these fictional characters.
Now Toronto-based youth shelter Covenant House has utilized the tool to send a sobering message about how living on the streets ages the homeless.
The shelter partnered with creative agency Taxi to create a striking ad featuring a haggard-looking 22-year-old man named Cale, with a How-Old.net screenshot indicating his age as 43.
The caption accompanying it reads, “Nothing steals youth like the street”.
