Artist Balances On Surfboard To Paint Photorealistic Murals Of Bathing Women
By Dorothy Tan, 09 Jun 2015
Art that interacts with its surroundings is always interesting—that is exactly what the fascinating waterfront murals of NYC-based Hawaiian artist and surfer Sean Yoro, who is also known as Hula, does.
These hyper-realistic murals feature larger-than-life portraits of bathing women, whose heads and shoulders emerge above sea level, making them look like they are submerged in the water.
To create these wonderful street artworks, the artist had to paddle out to the sea wall with his cans of paint and work while balancing on his surfboard.
