Inspired by the rise of the hipsters and the local artisanal movement, artist Mimi O Chun has created handcrafted replicas of iconic goods that are commonly associated with hipsters.
According to Chun, ‘Stuffed Hipster Emblems ’ aims to function as a mirror “using the very levers that invoke such fetishism among enthusiasts of artisanal, small-batch goods”.
Her brilliant collection features soft stuffed versions of latte art, mason jars, cabin spray and artisan Mast Brothers chocolate.
