Milk Dispenser Shaped Like Udders, Mimics The Process Of Milking A Cow
By Melissa Goh, 02 Jul 2015
Design Studio 55 has created a milk dispenser shaped like udders that mimics the milking of a cow.
Called ‘Vache Á Lait’—translated as the ‘Milk Cow’ project—it was a submission to The Milk Factory’s ‘What’s Next for Milk?’ competition.
The dispenser is made of a sphere-shaped container with three prongs shaped like udders, called ‘The Domestic Cow’, which holds and dispenses the milk. The ‘milking glass’, which looks like a bucket, is used as a cup.
The project aims to remind consumers where fresh food comes from, and encourages sustainable and responsible consumption of natural products by recreating the process of obtaining fresh, unpasteurized milk directly from cows.
