Creative Duo Document Every Single Thing They Own Over The Course Of A Year
By Jillian Wong, 16 Jul 2015
Emily - 2/1 - Floral Doc Martens — Last week, a lady in the elevator complimented these shoes and asked if I got them in China.
Corey Vaughan and Emily Okada are two Los Angeles-based creatives who are on a mission to document every single item they own throughout 2015.
According to their website, they were spurred to embark on their ‘Every Little Everything’ project after a “passionate phone conversation about excess, materialism, and waste.”
Through a series of daily photos and illustrations, they will attempt to document all of their possessions according to their professions—Vaughan is a photographer and Okada is a designer and illustrator. The only rule is that anything not captured after 11:59pm on 31 December has to be donated, sold, or discarded.
Check out some pictures below and follow their project here.
Corey - 7/11 - Thumb Harp — I bought this weird thumb harp at The Wild Animal Park probably 15 years ago. The “1” note has grown very flat.
Corey - 7/8 - Menards Sweatshirt — A sweatshirt from Menards, a goofy and amazing gift from my good friend Kyle McNulty.
Emily - 7/5 - Pans
Corey - 5/26 - Canon Mark 3 and GoPro Hero 3 Chargers — The backbone of my photography world.
Emily - 4/8 - Cactus Drawing II
