Coca-Cola Creates A Vending Machine That Prints Native Names On Bottles
By Winona Wee, 09 Sep 2015
The ‘Share a Coke’ campaign has been an international success, with many happy consumers sharing their personalized Coke bottles on social media.
However, the campaign missed out on many native names in different countries, especially in Latin America. To make the Coca-Cola campaign more inclusive, agency McCann Lima created a vending machine for the brand that could print people’s names out on Coca-Cola bottles via audio recognition.
Titled ‘In The Name Of Everyone’, the vending machine was brought to a small town in Peru and the Quechua people were invited to try it out.
