The Harry Potter series may have left a huge impact on your life, as it did so for several fans. These fans now have a chance to pay it forward in a new movement called ‘#PotterItForward’.
The campaign, started by popular Harry Potter fansite MuggleNet, encourages readers to write notes to future readers of the series, explaining what it means to them, and inviting them to “enjoy the magic”. These notes, marked with the hashtag #PotterItForward, are then hidden within library or bookstore copies of the Harry Potter series.
Each handwritten note is heartfelt–from emotional accounts, encouraging life advice, to favorite quotes from the series–and it is almost magic to see these notes popping up across the globe.
