Take A Closer Look At This Year’s Redesigned Logos
By Yap Yen, 28 Oct 2015
This seems like the year for redesigning logos. And we have featured the new logos of Google, IHOP and Facebook.
If executed well, a new logo can drive sales and foster stronger brand loyalty. Business Insider takes a closer look at 20 corporate logos that have undergone changes this year.
These include music streaming service, Spotify, whose logo was remade in another shade of green. The brand also added alternate color schemes. On the other hand, Kentucky Fried Chicken nostalgically returned to its brand roots and used a stripped-down logo from Grand Army.
Saatchi & Saatchi designed a new, straightforward logo for hardware manufacturer, Lenovo. The new logo is eye-catching and can be placed on a wider variety of colored backgrounds. Whereas dinner reservation service, OpenTable, worked with Tomorrow Parnters to update their logo to look good on smartphones and to use as an icon that creatively represents a diner waiting for a table.
What do you think? Are these new logos successful in injecting new life into their brands? Head over here to view more redesigned logos.
