Sleek Pink Hoodie Uses Color Psychology To Calm You Down
By Yap Yen, 18 Nov 2015
The new Baker Miller Pink Hoodie by experimental adventure brand Vollebak is a hoodie that is designed to calm you down.
Fusing color theory and physiology, the hoodie floods your entire field of vision with an experimental shade of pink that is engineered to reduce your heart rate and slow your breathing before or after sport. The hoodie is named after “Baker-Miller Pink”, a color that was found to suppress violent and aggressive behavior in prisoners and delinquents, calming their minds and “tranquilizing their minds” with just 15 minutes exposure.
The hoodie zips all the way over your face and you can stick your arms into two specifically configured pockets that rest directly over your diaphragm that will naturally tune you to taking deeper, lower breaths. The base layer of the hoodie is also insulated, windproof, breathable and water repellent. The mesh visor allows you to see out, but no one can see in.
The Baker Miller Hoodie is available now at a whooping $330. Visit their website for more information.
