If Apple, PANTONE, Other Iconic Brands ‘Invaded’ The Wine Industry...
By Louise Jane Cher, 04 Dec 2015
London-based art director Tom Ollivier, also known as Tom le French, has created minimalist renderings of popular brands on wine bottles.
With more brands diversifying their products into “all types of sectors”, and wine-making itself becoming more industrialized, he wanted to portray what the brands might look like if they “invaded” the wine industry.
The series, ‘99 Wine Bottles’, features each brand’s logo prominently and highlights their unforgettable color schemes and commonly used motifs.
For example, a bottle by Penguin Books features its orange logo and horizontal stripe, while a bottle for Coca-Cola features its white “dynamic ribbon”.
