Powerful Image Editor Now Supports iPad Pro, Lets You Edit 16K Images
By Jillian Wong, 14 Dec 2015
‘Affinity Photo’ is not the only app getting a major upgrade—iOS image editor ‘Pixelmator’, which we previously featured, has just been given a powerful boost.
With its latest 2.2 update, the app is now optimized for iPad Pro, supports Apple Pencil, and lets you open and edit 16K images.
On the iPad Pro’s large 12.9-inch display, creating and editing images with the app is a cinch. You can select from over 50 specially tailored brushes that provide more control over strokes for a more intuitive feel.
Photographers and image professionals will be pleased with the new 16K image support that lets them create and edit stunning, high quality pictures up to 100-megapixels.
Other new features include full 3D Touch support for iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, and 3D Touch-sensitive painting which allows you to change the look of a stroke by adjusting the pressure on the screen with your finger, without the need to change brush settings.
The update is free from the App Store.
