Bizarre, Controversial ‘Upskirt’ Umbrellas That Are Becoming Popular In Japan
By Aqila Xiao Qi, 14 Jan 2016
Hoping to establish the theme of ‘Crazy Japan’ around the world, a designer collective called Million Girls Project that intends to produce everyday products with a bizarre, controversial twist has recently launched an all-new umbrella design that opens up to reveal an upskirt image.
Cheekily called ‘Un-Burera,’ which plays on the words “Underwear” and “Umbrella,” the product took three years to complete. It comes in two designs, both of which does the job of sheltering you from the rain or heat while offering a brief, rather realistic peek up a female anime character’s skirt.
The umbrellas come with disclaimers that warn their users of potential extreme humiliation and to use it in public at their own risk.
Check out some images of the umbrella and find out more here.
