Incredible Pencil Tip Sculptures Inspired By Dalí, Michelangelo, Famous Artists
By Louise Jane Cher, 15 Jan 2016

Jasenko Đorđević
Bosnian artist Jasenko Đorđević has been carving incredible sculptures out of the fine tip of a pencil.
Unlike the pencil sculpture works of artists like Salavat Fidai and Hoang Tran, his creations are inspired by famous masters like Salvador Dalí, Michelangelo, and Edvard Munch.
He typically uses an X-acto knife and a tiny chisel to carve out the miniatures from pencil lead, honing his craft by experimenting with different types of pencils.
The process is a painfully meticulous one, and he explains, “One has to be very careful when working with black lead, as the smallest lack of attention can lead to its cracking.”
Check out his works below, and follow his Instagram account for more of them.
