Revolutionary New Cube-Shaped Toy Blocks May Be Even Better Than LEGO Bricks
By Dorothy Tan, 27 Jan 2016

LEGO bricks are widely acknowledged to have a great design that allows children and adults alike to exercise their creativity and build almost anything—improving upon this popular building block system seem to be a very difficult task.
However, Berlin-based product designer Daniel Stead may have done just that with the Lini Cube, “a beautiful educational toy building block that enables you to be more creative than ever before”.
To illustrate the “revolutionary” features of this cube-shaped toy block, Stead has placed his new creation side-by-side with the iconic LEGO bricks—and it does seem like the Lini is a new and improved version of the classic toy.
For instance, not only would you be able to connect Lini cubes together on their sides—something that cannot be accomplished with LEGO bricks—but you would also have the option to move the connected parts of a Lini-made model.
Head over to the Lini Cube’s Kickstarter page to find out more about what it can do—you can also pledge for the campaign to be among the firsts to own a Lini set in a limited edition red color that would not be reproduced ever again.
