Interactive Book Lets You Animate Its Illustrations With A Vintage Technique
By Yap Yen, 11 Feb 2016

Inspired by historical techniques that date back to the origins of film, Milan-based filmmaker Virgilio Villoresi has collaborated with illustrator Virginia Mori to create an animated book using a pre-cinema technique.
The result is Vento, the first in a series of animated, interactive books, whose story will afford the reader to construct and deconstruct the plot through time. Each image unveils snippets of its own story, letting readers draw their own connections through the narrative.
Watch the cool effects in the book trailer below.
