Creative Bookcases That Are Designed To Look Like PANTONE Color Swatches
By Dorothy Tan, 01 Mar 2016

If you are a designer or just someone who works with colors in your work, you would probably be familiar with the PANTONE color system.
Inspired by this well-known “authority on color”, Florence, Italy-based creative studio Invasione Creativa has created “One”, a concept bookcase that is modelled on the iconic PANTONE color swatch.
This modular concept is designed to be used individually, stacked up on one another or mounted on the wall—each book case looks just like a PANTONE swatch from the front, featuring a colored backdrop with its corresponding PANTONE code written beneath it.
In addition to a square shelf space for storing and displaying items, there is also a pull-out drawer at the bottom of the shelf for more private objects.
