Responsive Logo Transforms Into 70 Shapes, Colors According To Your Voice

Branding agency Wolff Olins has recently created a fun, responsive logo for Brazilian telecom giant Oi, which has been a client of the agency since 2001.
The agency gave the shape-shifting “blobble” logo a clever redesign by turning it into a self-generating logo that changes its color and shape depending on the sound of a customer’s voice.
While the rebranding still retains much of its original logo system, it now has 70 different iterations. With the help of digital design studio Onformative, the logo comes alive with its changing shape and color gradient.
Design director Campbell Butler explained, the choice of colors were based on intuition and basic color theory—quiet, low voices will create a calm blue color, while loud, high pitched voices create wild and colorful variations. The volume increases the size of the logo and the pitch changes the color and shape.
