Tattoo Removal Studio Uses A Fading Color Palette To Illustrate Its Business
By Dorothy Tan, 24 Jun 2016
Based in Manchester, the UK, graphic designer Gary Corr has created a clever branding identity for Too Undo, a laser tattoo removal studio—he has used just colors to illustrate the nature of the studio’s business.
The visual identity is based on a striking color palette that gradually fades from black to white—according to Corr, it “is based on the idea of progression and mimics the natural fading of the ink particles to communicate the tattoo removal process”.
The color palette is represented in both stark color blocks and soft gradients—it is paired with a simple logo that “reinforces the theme of progression” by including a lightweight letter ‘o’, which represents the “shrinking of the ink”.
