Dog Supposed To Impress Future Owners Thru Adoption Shoot, Photos Say Otherwise
By Yoon Sann Wong, 14 Jul 2016
Little four-month-old ‘Carpe Diem’ was a stray wandering the streets of San Francisco before SF Animal Care took him in.
In an attempt to increase the dog’s chances of finding a loving home, the shelter decided to take some photos of four-pound ‘Carpe Diem’ that would hopefully impress potential owners.
The photos were impressive all right, but not in the way that you’d expect. The cheeky pup left the shelter with four adorable and expressive portraits that melted the hearts of myriad Twitter users after it was published.
SF Animal Care uploaded the images with the caption: “Adopt Carpe Diem and you will OWN #MyWeirdDog”
The post was retweeted more than 900 times and helped earn ‘Carpe Diem’ a new home as of eight hours ago.
“He’s silly and teeny tiny…He is one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet,” commented Deb Campbell, a representative for SF Animal Care.
