Innovative App Lets You Track Your Calories By Simply Photographing Your Food

Food diaries make great health logs when we are dieting, helping us keep track of the calories we are taking in.
However, noting down everything you eat and calculating its calories can be an extremely tedious chore.
Health app ‘Lose It!’ sets off to help make food diaries effortless, allowing you to track your calories by simply snapping a photo—which is hardly a difficult task, since you were going to post it on Instagram anyway.
While you will still need to choose from the most suitable option suggested and manually input additional details, we cannot deny how much easier the ‘Snap It’ feature allows us to log our meals.
Other features of the app include barcode-scanning and location service, which recognizes nearby restaurants and generates suggestions from the menu, for easy and accurate logging.
