The Internet Is Going Crazy Over Whether These Legs Are Shiny Or Not
By Chloe Pek, 27 Oct 2016
After getting all fired up about “The Dress” in 2015, the Internet is in passionate debate once again. This time, over whether a pair of legs are shiny, or simply painted with white paint.
Unintentionally posted on Instagram by user Hunter Culverhouse, the image has left people confused by the optical illusion.
While some were able to see through the trick (it’s just white lines), many thought the legs were slathered in oil or gloss to create a shiny effect.
Culverhouse told Insider that the lines were spontaneously painted with some leftover white paint, which “turned out to be a completely confusing picture for everyone on the Internet”.
