Simple Napkin Sketches Demystify Complicated Personal Finance Concepts

For many people—particularly young people—the financial literacy programs out in the market are very limited. As most of us struggle with our personal finance, grasping the basic understanding of financial concepts can be very intimidating.
MBA graduate Tina Hay from Harvard Business School, who struggled in mastering these concepts, came up with an ingenious idea to simplify them by launching Napkin Finance.
The multimedia company introduces a series of visually engaging napkins, which explain the principle and basics of personal finance.
She told Business Insider, “I think more visually. I’ve always put numbers into illustrations and understood them that way, especially finances and money.”
After going through months of development, these illustrations include appealing diagrams and graphics that perfectly explained the complicated concepts in layman terms.
