Paraglider Gallantly Hitches A Ride From Truck Driver In Volvo’s New Stunt Ad
Around this time last year, Volvo Trucks unveiled the spot ‘Look Who’s Driving’–a continuation of its ‘Live Test Series’ that features a four-year-old girl piloting and completely wrecking one of its trucks.
The brand continues the collection with this new installation dubbed ‘The Flying Passenger’.
In this new ad by Forsman & Bodenfors, pro paraglider Guillaume Galvani braves the roads of a mountain pass in the Croatian Alps with the help of truck driver Louise Marriott.
The commercial aims to demonstrate the vehicle’s ability to maintain its speed despite the road’s ups and downs.
One particularly nerve-wrecking scene sees Galvani paragliding under a bridge–a tight squeeze that calls for “high-precision driving at a constant cruising speed without any room for error.”
