Illustrator Shares Side-By-Side Comparisons Of His Sketches And Final Drawings
By Dorothy Tan, 13 Jan 2017
During the creative process, a lot of things can change—this is exactly what Auckland, New Zealand-based designer Andrew Kirp wants to show with his series ‘From Sketch to Result’.
Putting his initial sketches in side-by-side comparisons with the final artworks, he seeks to highlight the “actual path between an idea and a final result”.
For fellow creatives and anyone who is interested in art, this project is a fascinating behind-the-scene peek into the world of an artist, and reveals the gap between that first spark and finished product.
