Watch: Designer Shares His Process Of Recreating The Vintage Nike Logo
By Dorothy Tan, 21 Feb 2017
You may not know this, but the famous Nike logo did not always look as it does now—the first version of the logo showed the brand name in lowercase letters.
Based in Florida, freelance designer and illustrator Conrad Garner recently shared a video that shows how he recreated the vintage Nike logo as a vector image.
It is always interesting to take a peek at a creative’s work process—in this case, it is particularly satisfying to see the straight edges of the initial sketch rounded out into the curves of the wordmark.
You can watch the 40-second process video here—check out more of Garner’s graphic design and illustration portfolio on his website.
