Chances are, you have been to a painfully trendy cafe in the past month, even if you think that its prices are too high and the coffee is not great, simply because they seem to be everywhere these days.
McDonald’s UK has just released a funny McCafe ad—created by Leo Burnett London and directed by Tony Barry at Knucklehead—that makes fun of such pretentious cafes.
From ridiculously tiny cups of coffee to overwhelmingly complicated chalkboard menus and over-priced pastries, this spot is kind of spot-on about the hipster cafe culture.
