NSFW: Literally Everything Is Sexual In This Amusing Innuendo-Filled Video
By Yoon Sann Wong, 22 Mar 2017
If you’ve heard of artiste Tommy Cash, then his latest innuendo-filled music video for number Surf might not be too much of a shocker.
Cash is not one to shy away from the provocative. Mid last year he released another NSFW music video for the song Winaloto, in which Cash plays naked bodies like bongo drums.
Both videos for Winaloto and Surf were directed by Cash, and produced by Anna-Lisa Himma. Their small team worked on Surf’s music clip over a span of five months.
“We took our time with it and it kinda grew into what you are seeing today,” Cash explained to Creators. The video teases with numerous piecemeal scenes suggesting sexual play that will surely exercise your dirty mind, but eventually zooms out to reveal otherwise. Additional straightforward acts include a condom being pulled over a skyscraper, fingers reaching into an open window, and a woman wrapping her mouth around the head of a rocket that’s about to launch.
“It all started of course with the vibe of the track, which we already had for a year. 70s porn and soviet times felt right, so we figured we will go for a sexual soviet utopia wonder world. I think the reason for all the activity in the video might also be that at the time of writing it, I was on tour for two months and abstained from all sexual activity, so somewhere in my unconscious mind everything started looking like that,” Cash explains.
