‘Punderful’ Illustrations That Combine Cats With Pop Culture Icons
Cats are an inspiration for many artists. Adding on to the previously featured feline-inspired illustrations of characters from Star Wars, Stranger Things and Star Trek by Jenny Park, comes these pun-filled kitty sketches by Katie Ruby Miller.
Miller initiated her series ‘The Punderful World of Cats’ as a form of escapism from her day job at a greeting cards studio. Now a freelance illustrator, Miller dedicates time at least once a week to create a fresh addition for the collection.
Each pun-filled drawing begins in her sketchbook before being transferred to the computer where they are rendered in full color, complete with texture.
Similar to how Miller turns to these ‘punderful’ artworks to unwind, you too can shade in her drawings by downloading the coloring-in pages for free.
