A Clean Redesign Of The Milk Carton With A Turn Cap You Can Open With One Hand
By Dorothy Tan, 28 Mar 2017
The milk carton, and milk packaging in general, is something we are so used to that we do not often think about its design—or whether it can be improved.
Based in St Petersburg, Russian designer and art director Erik Musin decided to give this commonplace item a makeover—inspired by how he often forgets to replace the cap on the milk carton, he has created a packaging with an innovative turn cap that could be opened and closed in one motion, with one hand.
As part of the clean and stylish design of this plastic carton, he has also created a minimalist logo for the fictional milk brand—the circle represents the simplicity and functionality of the packaging’s user-friendly cap.
