With Easter coming around, it’s only fitting to discuss the little treats animators like to hide in their films, unbeknownst to their audiences: Easter eggs. It seems like Disney isn’t the only Easter Bunny because an equally magical franchise has been known to sneak in some character crossovers too.
This fantastical video by Movie Munchies takes you to a dreamy world of Studio Ghibli films and reveals a handful of movie Easter eggs you might have missed from My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Spirited Away, and more. One scene even features a cartoon cameo of the creator Hayao Miyazaki himself.
