Fanta Rebrands With Fun Cut-Paper Logo, Handmade Typography, New Packaging
By Dorothy Tan, 26 May 2017
The colorful Fanta soft drinks launched a new international look last year—website Brand New recently revealed that the new identity is created by London-based studio Koto.
The new logo and overall redesigned branding is meant to be both natural and playful—this concept influenced the decision to use handmade cut-paper design and typography.
The result does indeed bring across a fun vibe—the irregular shapes of the logo and bespoke typeface clearly show the wonderful imperfection of handmade design.
The new identity also includes an intriguing new bottle design—created by London-based Drink Works, it looks like it is being twisted in the middle, and feature spores on its surface.
Head over to Brand New to read more about Fanta’s new logo, brand identity and packaging—do you think it is an improvement from the previous look?
