Apple’s Exclusive, Rare Vintage Sneakers Will Burn A Cavern In Your Pocket
By Yoon Sann Wong, 08 Jun 2017
Do you have what it takes to cop this pair of vintage Apple ‘Computer Sneakers’, made by the company in the early 1990s exclusively for its employees?
Not unless you have US$15,000 or more. The rare classic wear, which was produced in limited quantities and seldom photographed through the years, has been put up for auction by private collectibles vendor Heritage Auctions. Bidding starts on 11 June.
The real value of this size nine-and-a-half footwear has been estimated by Heritage Auctions to lie closer to the US$30,000 range.
Do you think it’s grossly overpriced? Or are you already consulting your life savings?
