Do you start your day with your best foot forward? In a bid to support ‘Women Win’—the global leader in gender equality though sport—Adidas and Refinery 29 have collaborated with female artists to create a unique pair of ‘UltraBOOST X’ sneakers to represent all 50 states in America.
The limited edition ‘BOOST the Nation’ collection was launched for women, by women, to marry creativity with sport, as well as reflect the nation’s diversity.
“We can find beauty despite diversity and, more importantly, because of diversity, from shorelines to glaciers, from farmland to mountaintop to prairie. If everything was the same, nothing would be remarkable,” says artist and former chemist Mari Orr.
The sneakers started rolling out for auction on 4 July 2017. All proceeds raised will be donated to ‘Women Win’.
If the shoe fits, wear it. Check out some designs below and view all 50 over at Adidas.
