Follow These Golden Logo Trends To Ensure Your Logo Instantly Stand Out
By Izza Sofia, 31 Jul 2017
It is important that designers are aware of what is on trend right now, which may either inspires you, or propels you in another direction.
Here are some of the biggest logo design trends for 2017, as compiled by Design Shack. They are not new or revolutionary in any way, but they are geared towards making the most impact at the moment.
Geometry is one of the most essential elements in graphic arts, so it is no wonder that it is an on-going trend in logo design. The geometric approach is more prominent this year, as some designers break the fluidity of letters or forms into angular shapes. This trend also supports the return to 80s-like modernist and retro style in logo design, as well as the use of grids, patterns and repetition.
Some of the less abstract, but still geometrical solutions show a rather flat quality, frequently enlivened with the choice of vivid colour. Geometric logo design trend is here to stay, but the approach of the moment dictates combinations with minimalism, colour, simple lines and interesting lettering.
If minimalism is imbued in graphic work, logo designers would love to stick to simple images. Line art though is a daring discipline since solid, dark-colored lines are leveraged to maximum potential to draw images.
Designers nowadays find it an excellent way of distinguishing their creations with other logos with this inspiring logo design technique. Also, it blends both text and an image perfectly.
Hand-made logos imitate hand-made elements and allow for the creation of a wide array of effects. Hand drawn logos look fresh and it spells originality. Small businesses usually adopt this technique as they want to tell their consumers that every aspect of their business has a personal touch.
