Adidas Saves Oktoberfest With Limited Edition Beer- And Vomit-Proof Sneakers
Originally a Bavarian event, Oktoberfest is now celebrated the world over and is well-loved for its endless flow of German beer, traditional food, and fun.
In honor of this great tradition, German footwear giant Adidas has unveiled the ‘München Made In Germany’—a pair of limited edition sneakers that ensures you will always have the perfect kicks to match to your lederhosen.
The German-made shoes, which retail at US$200, feature gold stripes on brown leather and are embroidered with traditional flowers on the heel. The word “PROST”—German for “cheers” and a must-know term for Oktoberfest—is emblazoned in gold on the exterior.
Most importantly, the kicks are beer-proof and water-repellent, meaning beer spillage or vomit will have little to no effect on your sneaker game.
