Adobe Photoshop Announces Customizable Typography Feature For Designers
By Kylie Woon, 30 Sep 2017

An upcoming tool is about to make Photoshop more typography-friendly.
In this one-minute video, Adobe Creative Cloud introduces you to ‘Variable Fonts’, an open-type font format that allows for easy weight, width and slant customization—just drag the sliders until you get desired results.
The new feature will allow for transitional design, so individual glyphs can be customized according to its attribute values and will adjust beautifully at different weights.
This announcement comes shortly after the ‘curvature pen tool’ reveal—all coming in the latest version of Adobe Photoshop CC.
