Now that 280-character tweets are officially a thing, Twitter is working to further ensure users get to have their say… with a possible tweetstorm feature.
Everyone knows that one person who would partake in large Twitter sprees. Luckily for them and unfortunately for many others, the platform has confirmed that it is experimenting with an option that lets people post multiple tweets in one go.
The feature was first spotted by Android Police, and is currently available to users subscribed to the ‘Twitter Experiments’ program.
By the looks of the screenshot obtained, users would be able to include extra tweets to a single thread by tapping a ‘+’ icon. Each post is still capped at 280 characters.
With 280-character tweets enabled this year, coupled with a possible new tweetstorm feature, users might be dying to know: what ever happened to Twitter’s old standpoint on brevity?
