Ahead of its grand redesign, Snapchat has released a set of AI-based stickers and borders that appear according to the context of your snaps.
The smart filters are ready for use right after you take a photo that pertains to a number of categories. A spokesperson tells Mashable that Snapchat can recognize photos related to classifications that range from concerts to pets and food.
Testing the feature using some images obtained from Google, Mashable found that a photo of a beach would render a filter that read, “Ocean View.” An image of a Thanksgiving turkey launched a ‘WHAT DIET?’ sticker, and a picture of a dog unlocked an ‘IT’S A PAWTY!’ filter.
The new filters were gradually installed into users’ apps last week. Preview them below.
