Donald Trump’s attorney Ty Cobb is being ridiculed and trolled extensively on Twitter for using one of the “world’s most hated fonts.”
Cobb was caught using ‘Comic Sans’ for a statement on Michael Flynn—Trump’s former national security adviser—pleading guilty in a probe by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
A screenshot of the statement, which appears in the ‘Comic Sans’ font, was shared by Bloomberg reporter Sahil Kapur on Twitter.
Users questioned if the font was indeed ‘Comic Sans’. After Kapur confirmed that Trump’s lawyer had used the typeface for the announcement, the jokes began.
Take a look at the responses below.

The president's attorney opened Word, went to the font tab, scrolled past ARIAL and CALIBRI, and said "This is the font I want. Comic Sans." https://t.co/ieEd4hcKlX— Bradford Pearson (@BradfordPearson) December 1, 2017
Ty Cobb writes letters in comic sans. Even more proof we're living a simulation. https://t.co/AnwsGywzPW— Scott Lincicome (@scottlincicome) December 1, 2017
