Madame Tussauds Trolls Disney’s New Trump Animatronic Robot In An Epic Meme
By Izza Sofia, 21 Dec 2017
Madame Tussauds, the famous museum of wax figurines, has joined the widespread online ridicule of President Trump’s depiction in Disney’s Hall of Presidents.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom had introduced the world to its new Trump animatronic in its refurbished Hall of Presidents. However, shortly after the Trump robot was unveiled, pictures made their way onto the internet, and there were massive levels of mockery for how odd the robot looks.
There were a lot of great reactions to the new robot in chief, but Madame Tussauds’ commentary on the animatronic takes the cake.
“Me at the start of 2017 vs me now,” wrote Tussauds, along with side-by-side photos of its own Trump wax figure and Disney’s rather questionable depiction.
The Hall of Presidents’ robotic Trump figure was unveiled at Magic Kingdom and almost immediately, people took to Twitter to talk about the the figure’s face. Some said it looked like ‘Chucky’ while others said it looked like someone else entirely (Jon Voight, perhaps, or even Hillary Clinton).
