Things aren’t always peachy, but Coca-Cola proves that you can “taste the feeling” of life’s sweetness with every drop of its latest fruit-inspired cola.
Juicing Japan’s trend of unexpected drink flavors—including clear ‘milk tea’ and green tea cheese frappuccinos—the brand has chosen the country to be the first to taste its all-new ‘peach’ variation.
As its name suggests, ‘Coca-Cola Peach’ complements the iconic drink’s refreshing taste with the bright flavor of sweet, juicy peaches.
The arrival of ‘Coca-Cola Peach’ will coincide with Japan’s ‘Momo no Sekku’, the nation’s annual peach festival.
The company’s research also shows that peach-flavored drinks are more popular between the months of January and March, so sales are expected to ripen significantly for the limited edition soda.
The cola will hit stores and vending machines across Japan starting 22 January 2018 in 16.9-ounce and 9.5-ounce bottles, which will sell at JP¥140 (US$1.25) and JP¥115 (US$1.03) respectively.
