‘Tiramisushi’ Is The Unusual Dessert Fusion For Sushi And Tiramisu Fans
Kura Sushi, a sushi chain in Japan, is known for its unconventional desserts and drinks.
This Valentine’s season, the food chain is putting a Japanese interpretation on the decadent dessert tiramisu called ‘Tiramisushi’.
It is made of chocolate pudding, wrapped inside a layer of seaweed, surrounded by sushi rice. It is then rolled in cocoa powder, sliced into neat little rolls, and topped with whipped mascarpone cheese.
‘Tiramisushi’ is rich in chocolate, which marries with the sour and refreshing taste of the rice. This visually-pleasing dessert is enjoyed well with the company’s ‘Premium Coffee’.
‘Tiramisushi’ costs 100 yen (US$0.92) and will be available from 9 to 15 February at all Kura Sushi locations in Japan.
