PepsiCo Debuts Healthy Personalized Beverage Range For Different Lifestyles

With more consumers becoming increasingly health conscious, PepsiCo has decided to launch a versatile beverage line called Drinkfinity that not only focuses on wellness, but also caters to various lifestyles.
Piloted in Brazil in 2014, this PepsiCo venture is now being introduced to the US. The personalized drink range allows you to “peel, pop and shake” to combine dry plus liquid ingredients housed inside portable ‘Pods’ with water using the brand’s signature reusable and BPA-free bottle.
Each Drinkfinity ‘Pod’ falls within one of these four categories: ‘Charge’ that contains green coffee extract and has about as much caffeine as one cup of coffee; ‘Flow’ to fuel your day with Vitamin C and E; ‘Renew’ that comes packed with electrolytes for your gym days; ‘Chill’ for added relaxation with botanicals.
Every category comes with its own flavor profile such as Açaí, Pomegranate Ginger, Elderflower and Coconut Water Watermelon. These are made up of dry and wet ingredients including chia seeds, açaí fruit, ginger root extract and concentrated fruit juices.
The dry and liquid ingredients are packed separately inside each ‘Pod’ before they are mixed with cold water inside Drinkfinity’s 20-ounce bottle.
The ‘Pods’ are free of artificial sweeteners as well as synthetic flavors, and contain between 30 and 80 calories per 20-ounce drink. Drinkfinity’s 12 special blends can be found here.
Drinkfinity’s ‘Pods’ retail between US$5 and US$6.50 for a pack of four, while its signature bottle is going at US$20 online.
For every purchase made within the US, Drinkfinity will “donate $1 to Water.org to help provide one year of safe water for one person in the developing world, up to $100,000.”
