HSBC, one of the largest banks in the world, has underwent a rebrand to fit in the new and updated digital lifestyle.
The revamp aims to give HSBC a more fitting image in the 21st century. It also wishes to show the bank’s culture in helping the people prosper and give its digital platform a new look.
The new logo does not stray too far from its previous one. It still features the bank’s identity as well as its iconic red and white hexagon. The new logo however, features a sans serif font and a deeper red is used in the hexagon.
The hexagon also appears to be bigger and bolder as compared to the old logo, and the bank’s name is resized to be slightly smaller next to it.
Overall, the new logo looks more uniformed and adaptable to digital formats. It also aims to improve visibility and convey the bank’s culture better.
To accompany the transformation, HSBC has launched a campaign called ‘Together we thrive’, to reflect its message of being committed to helping its customers flourish.
