Some people hit up McDonald’s outlets as a ritual whenever they visit a new country. Others feel comforted by the familiarity of the chain’s food.
Luckily for citizens of the world, McDonald’s has launched a new flagship restaurant in Chicago’s West Loop that serves unique menu items from around the globe.
The special location switches up its menu every few months. In its first leg, for instance, patrons can order Canada’s ‘Mighty Angus’ 1/3-pound beef patty burger, Hong Kong’s ‘McSpicy’ chicken sandwich, Australia’s cheese and bacon loaded fries, and France’s ‘Manhattan’ and ‘Mozza’ salads.
For dessert, guests can indulge in the limited-time ‘McFlurry Prestígio’ from Brazil, which adorns McDonald’s vanilla soft serve with strawberry sauce and chocolate-coated coconut bits.
Additionally, there’ll be a dessert center with Latin American-inspired sweets and an Australian-style McCafé.
Forget traveling around the world in 80 days, this unique restaurant whizzes you from end to end in a matter of bites.
