Spotify’s Horror Film Ad On Its Killer Songs Might Make Your Hair Stand On End

Music streaming service Spotify beefed up its free mobile experience for iOS and Android users last month with new on-demand playlists, improved personalization, and a mobile data-saving option; essentially everything its paying users had wanted.
These changes are being promoted by Spotify’s largest global campaign to date, called ‘Love What You Love’, that includes blockbuster-inspired films, OOH materials and social media videos.
In this latest ad, Spotify draws inspiration from horror and aptly conveys its “killer songs” with help from Camila Cabelo’s Havana number. The copy wittily reads, “Killer songs you can’t resist. Listen free.”
