With the 2018 FIFA World Cup less than a month away, football fever is quickly catching on.
The tournament, which will be held in Russia this year, has UK-based design studio JQ ushering in the event with its collection of retro poster designs.
The graphics have been inspired by the countries’ kit designs, in styles that complement each team’s colors and patterns. Every poster details rank, group location, team sheet, as well as player-to-watch.
For now, the studio has revealed seven designs comprising Mexico, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, France, and England, with more posters to be added to the collection in the coming weeks.
See the designs below and watch the space on studio JQ’s online portfolio for updates to this series. The studio had previously created a retro poster collection for UEFA EURO 2016 as well.
